We have arrived and are ready to skate our way through LA.
Logan Hill, Scottish American Skater 4L, gave us the down low on the rad skate shop, Supreme. The shop closes down for two weeks a year and what are the odds we caught the shop on opening day. The line was down the street but due to Tara's connect and being the only girls to show up, we walked right in. Supreme Royalty. An interesting note was the diverse mix of guys in line. I would say about 80% were Hispanic.
The shop has been around for 10 years and according to Logan, it's embarrassing that people with money are coming in and taking a dig at what supreme started. "We just keep our blinders on and do what we do."
A little competitive insight from our guy, Cons is doing the skate scene real good, puma doesn't have a chance. Nike and Adidas are doing their thing and standing pretty strong.
