The Venice Skatepark and boardwalk feels like a blank canvas for live music and opportunity. While not many skaters are wearing converse (only 1 to be exact) the area is filled with creatives selling art and hanging out. One skater told us that he used to wear cons but they bruised his ankles so he gave them up.
There are some subtle OOH placements mainly promoting beer but they feel native to the environment of the boardwalk.
Off to downtown la to check out the music and art scene
